Ron Powell
Ron has a passion to train men and women to reach and disciple teens through relational ministry. He has been on this mission of pastoring and teaching youth ministry for the past 25 years. Presently he is the Youth Ministry Institute Director at Vanguard College in Edmonton and a junior high volunteer at North Pointe Community Church. He holds a Masters in Youth Ministry from Tyndale Seminary, Toronto, and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. Ron has been a regular workshop leader at YC Edmonton, Breakforth Canada, and other youth leadership conferences from Newfoundland to British Columbia. He is the course author of a wide range of online courses including: Foundations of Youth Ministry, Youth Ministry Issues, Youth Discipleship and Pastoring, and Ministry to Post Modern Families. When he is not teaching, or speaking at camps, rallies, or retreats, you will find him hanging out with his wife, two teenage daughters, and Spot the dog, in St. Albert, AB.
