30 and Out: Why Young People Leave the Church and What We Can Do About It

In the past few years there has been a significant number of people, thirty years and under, leaving the church. This exodus of youth is taking its toll on churches and youth ministries and, for some church leaders, presents a scary future for organized Christianity. 

In light of this reality the questions must be asked: Why are there so many youth leaving the church?  What can be done to stem the tide or do we even want to stop this?  Is it so bad that they are leaving in the first place or could this be a work of God in building something new?

These are some of the many important questions we must bravely confront and discuss if we are to be faithful to God and His calling on our lives in our ministry to youth. So hold onto your hats and get ready for some biblical exposition, rousing stories and practical applications that will challenge us to be better youth workers in the days to come.
