Relationally Engage the Wireless Generation in their New Reality (Mind Matters)

Students are redefining what it is to build community and be relational–have you been able to make the shift?  Well, let’s first ask ourselves…is there anything good that can come from Facebook, MSN, MySpace, Music Videos, MTV, iTUNES, video games, bloging, and podcasting…you bet!  This is their world, their image, their creation and we need to see what this means for us to be able to connect and meet them where they are at. This workshop will explore how engaging in their world will be monumental in launching a highly relational and personal student ministry to both the churched and unchurched youth.  The future of effective youth ministry will be found in how effectively we step into their world and interact with a students’ “digital image,” which will give us insights and permission to walk with them in their spiritual and personal life
