Making Evangelism Part of Everything We Do (Professional & Ministry Development)

Evangelism is too important to get relegated to an event once in a while…a training series every year…or a guilt trip on our kids. Evangelism is at the core of our faith, but it needs to be natural, comfortable, simple, and organic. How can we make evangelism a central part to everything we do? Can evangelism be core to our weekly meetings without becoming all that we do? Can evangelism be central to our small groups without overpowering the discipleship of our church kids? Can evangelism filter through to happen naturally in the life of every kid? Of course it can. Discipleship, evangelism, prayer, service, community…they are all critical elements to effective ministry; but they are not program elements! Let’s discuss how we can make these “who we are as a group” instead of “what we do on the first Friday of every month.”
